Stratford on Avon Golf Club is a 6400 yard par 72 course set in about 150 acres of beautiful parkland. The course offers a wide variety of challenging holes to test golfers of all abilities. The fast draining soil conditions allowing play throughout the year without interruption.

Designed by the celebrated J H Taylor, five times Open Champion, who said in his original report that the subsoil was ideal ‘You can play 365 days a year in your slippers’. The present course was officially opened on 27th April 1928 by Samuel Ryder - donator of the famous Ryder Cup and Captain of the club in 1929/30.
