Whitby Golf Club is certainly amongst the oldest golf clubs in the Yorkshire region, having first opened its doors and fairways to golfers in 1892. It provides a truly marvellous setting for a round of golf, as it played out near the coast with fantastic seaside views on offer. You can now play the revamped course. Some of the original cliff top holes have gone due to cliff erosion but the breathtaking golf is still theres over some tricky ravines.

Located just a mile and a half north of the quaint little town of Whitby, fresh sea breezes blow around the course, and on more blustery days can carry the more highly airborne shots away towards trouble so it is a good idea to think and maybe exercise a little caution before teeing-off.
